Howard Rodriguez has been immersed in the dog training and sales and food industry since 1969. He started at the young age of 10 working in the largest canine training school at the time, the K-9 Command Dog Training Center in New York City. At the age of 18 he became the Head Trainer and National Training Director. In 1978 and 1979 Howard traveled the country as a catalyst in restructuring the K-9 Command Headquarters. From 1980 to 1990 he lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and with two facilities, one in Fort Lauderdale and one in Miami, Howard supplied, trained and coordinated training for multiple Police Departments. In 1990 Howard opened the California K-9 Academy in Burbank, California. From 1990 through 1993 Howard focused his efforts abroad, acquiring the finest German Shepherd imports and establishing his current training facility in Germany.
